Rory McDaid, Capuchino baseball: McDaid went 2 of 3 at the plate and pitched six innings for the win in a 2-1 victory over St. Ignatius. He also went 3 of 4 against Evergreen Valley in a 6-2 win.
Lindsey Mifsud, Notre Dame-Belmont softball: She pitched a five-hitter and struck out nine in a 3-0 win over Valley Christian.
Owen Plambeck, Palo Alto baseball: The sophomore hit two home runs with three RBIs and got the save in a 7-2 win over Carlmont.
Amanda Ramirez, Wilcox softball: In the Chargers' 5-0 win over Stevenson, Ramirez struck out 12 and allowed just three hits. She also blanked Aptos 1-0.
Adam Schembri, Hillsdale baseball: The 6-foot-2 junior pitched a complete game while not allowing an earned run in a 6-1 victory over Sacred Heart Prep.
Sean Watkins, Serra basketball: He scored 16 points to help Serra rally to defeat Montgomery-Santa Rosa 59-54 in a NorCal Division II quarterfinal.
