Holly Azevedo, Pioneer softball: Azevedo threw a two-hitter in a 5-0 win over Piedmont Hills, a no-hitter in a 3-0 win over Santa Teresa and a one-hitter in a 2-1 win over St. Francis. She had 34 strikeouts in the three games.

Gabi Bade, Pinewood basketball: She had 16 points and 10 rebounds as Pinewood cruised to a 61-38 victory over Brookside Christian of Stockton in the Northern California Division V championship game.

Kris Bubic, Archbishop Mitty baseball: Bubic struck out 11 and allowed one run in 52/3 innings Friday as Mitty defeated Bellarmine College Prep 5-1.

Aidan Burns, Bellarmine College Prep swimming: He won the 200 free and 100 backstroke in a win over Serra.

Brennan Carey, Aragon baseball: He had two hits and an RBI and scored twice in a 7-1 PAL Ocean win over Sequoia.

Davis Catolico, Lynbrook track and field: He won the 400 at the De Anza-Cupertino Invitational in 50.89 and the triple jump at 45 feet, 9 inches. Both were meet records.

Jonathan Engelmann, Burlingame baseball: The junior had two hits, including a home run, drove in four runs and stole two bases in an 8-1 win over Carlmont.

Brynne Fitzpatrick, Valley Christian softball: She struck out 16 and did not allow a hit in a 4-0 victory over Los Gatos. She also had two hits and two RBIs.

Holly Geranen, Leland softball: Geranen pitched a four-hitter and hit a homer in a win over Mt. Pleasant. She also had an HR and was the winning pitcher against Saratoga.

Kelli Hayes, Archbishop Mitty basketball: She scored eight of her team's final 10 points as Mitty beat McNair-Stockton 57-54 in the NorCal Division II final.

Will Johnston, Sacred Heart Prep baseball: He pitched a three-hit shutout in a 4-0 win over Terra Nova as the Gators evened their record in the PAL Bay at 1-1.

Sarah Kaunitz, Lisa Kaunitz, Monta Vista swimming: The Kaunitz sisters won two events apiece to help the Matadors take the team title at the Steve Yamamoto Memorial Invitational.

David Madding, Crystal Springs Uplands golf: The senior set a Poplar Creek nine-hole match record with a 5-under par 31 in a match against Menlo School.

Sharona Mataele, Hillsdale softball: She had a double and two singles, three RBIs and two runs scored in a 13-0 win over Sequoia.

Ally Sarabia, Half Moon Bay softball: Sarabia had three hits, two runs scored and an RBI and got the win in a 12-0 victory over Aragon.

Robert Zamora, Lincoln baseball: Zamora pitched a complete game and struck out 12 in a 5-2 win over San Jose.
