FIRST TEAM

SEAN BLOORE, Monte Vista, Sr. -- Bloore swam to runner-up finishes in the 50 and 100 at the North Coast Section championships. At the East Bay Athletic League meet, the Utah-bound sprinter won the 100 and took second in the 50.

KEVIN McLAUGHLIN, Amador Valley, Sr. -- McLaughlin completed a dominant postseason run in the 200 individual medley with a first-place finish at the NCS championships with an All-America automatic time of 1:49.39. McLaughlin also won the event at the EBAL championships, setting a meet record.

GABE OSTLER, Miramonte, Sr. -- Ostler claimed Diablo Foothill Athletic League titles in the 50 and 100 freestyle, then improved both of his times at the NCS championships, taking third place in both events.

MAXIME ROONEY, Granada, So. -- Rooney shined in the 200 and 500 freestyle at the NCS championships after winning the 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly at the EBAL meet. He set NCS meet records in preliminaries in both the 200 and 500 freestyle, and also anchored Granada's 400 freestyle relay team that set a national public school record.

CARSON SAND, Castro Valley, Jr. -- Sand crushed his West Alameda County Conference meet records in the 100 breaststroke and 200 IM. He took second in both events at the NCS championships.

NICK SILVERTHORN, Granada, Sr. -- Silverthorn, who will swim for Cal next year, claimed the 100 breaststroke title and was second in the 200 freestyle at the NCS championships. He also swam the leadoff leg of the 400 freestyle relay team that set a national public school record.

MASON TITTLE, Northgate, Jr. -- Tittle played a key role in the Broncos' NCS team championship, taking third in the 100 butterfly and fourth in the 50 freestyle. He also set Diablo Valley Athletic League meet records in those events a week earlier. In addition, Tittle was on the winning 200 freestyle relay team and the second place 200 medley relay team at NCS.

GRANT WATSON, College Prep, So. -- Watson edged College Prep teammate Arjun Sharma by 0.02 seconds to win the 100 butterfly at the NCS finals in 48.98. He broke school records the butterfly, along with the 50 freestyle.
