PLEASANTON -- Host Amador Valley got off to a hot start to the 2014 season, scoring touchdowns on each of its first five possessions, cruising to a victory against Washington.

The Huskies couldn't even take credit for stopping the Dons' opening streak of touchdowns, as Amador Valley elected to let the clock run out while at the Washington 1-yard line on its final possession of the first half to take a 34-0 lead into halftime.

Running backs Patrick Loughnane and Ledge McCollough led the big play barrage for the Dons, combining for 162 yards and three touchdowns on only four carries in the first half. McCollough would finish the night with 132 yards and two touchdowns on five carries.

Washington had as many first downs (three) as turnovers in the first half but eventually made the score appear competitive with five touchdowns in the second half as Amador Valley began to empty its bench.
