Chocolate and Hazelnut Pizza with Banana

Serves 2 to 4

4 ounces pizza dough

3 tablespoons chocolate-hazelnut spread

1 banana, sliced and tossed with lemon juice

1 tablespoon fresh ricotta

1 scoop vanilla ice cream or gelato

2 tablespoons chocolate shavings

2 tablespoons toasted, peeled and chopped hazelnuts

2 teaspoons honey

Confectioner's sugar

1. Place pizza stone on grill when you fire it up, so the stone heats gradually. Lightly dust a pizza peel with flour. Roll dough into a round or oval, about 1/8-inch thick. Prick the dough all over with a fork.

2. Spread chocolate-hazelnut spread over the pizza base. Place sliced banana neatly on top followed by dollops of the ricotta.

3. Transfer pizza to the preheated stone. Cook 5 to 10 minutes, until golden and crisp. Remove pizza with a peel; transfer to a cutting board. Cut into 2 to 4 pieces. Add dollops of ice cream, chocolate shavings, hazelnuts and a drizzle of honey. Dust with confectioner's sugar, if you wish.
