LIVERMORE -- Did you receive an eReader under the Christmas tree but aren't sure where to get started?
The Livermore Public Library is asking the public to bring in their Kindles, Nooks and other devices to a series of four workshops to learn how to find, check out and download eBooks from the library. All classes take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. starting Jan. 9.
Attendees with iPads, iPhones or iPod touches are welcome to join the Jan. 9 session; Nook users can receive help on Jan. 16, and Kindle owners may drop in on Jan. 23. The last session takes place on Jan. 30, for those with any type of eReader, tablet or smartphone.
Workshops will be held at the Livermore Public Library, 1188 S. Livermore Ave. Attendees should bring their Apple, Barnes & Noble or Amazon account information.
