LIVERMORE --The Altamont Cruisers took to downtown streets again on Sunday, celebrating their 24th annual Nostalgia Day Car Show.

Admission was free, but show registration fees and other sales money are collected to support local charitgable programs.

In addition to hundreds of restored classic cars, the show included vendors with car products, rock 'n' roll music, prize drawings, and arts and crafts.

Over its life, the Altamont Cruisters club has given more than $350,000 to local charitable groups, with special attention to Tri-Valley anti-drug programs for youth.
