LIVERMORE -- A Saturday evening procession down Hillcrest Avenue led to the home of Deacon Dave Rezendes, site of the biggest and brightest holiday display in the East Bay.

The lights were off when the procession arrived at 352 Hillcrest Ave., but soon bloomed into the 372,250-light glory that is the annual Casa del Pomba display.

This is the 31st year of the display, which will be lit every night through Jan. 1.

The hours are Sunday through Thursday, 6-9 p.m.; Friday to Saturday, 6 to 10 p.m.; Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, 6 to 10 p.m.; Dec.26-Jan. 1, 6-9 p.m.

On New Year's Eve the gates will be open until 8 p.m. but the lights will be on 6 p.m. to midnight. For more information, visit www.casadelpomba.com.
