All lanes of the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge reopened just before 9
a.m. today, nearly an hour after a 10-vehicle crash snarled traffic during
the morning commute, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported just after 8 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the bridge, which is also state Highway 92, CHP Officer A. Paulson said.
One person suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
A Sig-alert issued at 8:12 a.m. was lifted at 8:56 a.m.
