Covered California will hold meetings at several local libraries in coming weeks to help residents enroll for health care coverage through the Affordable Care Act.

Certified counselors will be on hand to explain coverage options through Covered California, as well as whether you qualify for low-cost or no-cost coverage through Medi-Cal.

Meetings will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the El Sobrante Library, 4191 Appian Way; 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Pinole Library, 2935 Pinole Valley Road; 1 to 5 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Richmond Main Library, 325 Civic Center Plaza; and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 15 at the San Pablo Library, 2300 El Portal Drive, Suite D.

Those attending should bring documents showing current income of all family members on the application (tax return, W-2 forms, recent pay stubs); legal resident card or Certificate of Naturalized Citizenship, if applicable; copy of U.S. citizenship and residency status; and copy of Social Security number and date of birth for each family member in the household.
