Scheduled roadwork or other closures the week of May 12 and beyond:
Downtown San Jose and the Alameda area: Various street closures on morning of May 18 for recreational run. See map above; more information on specific times at SJDowntown.com.
Highway 17: Northbound No. 2 (slow) lane to be closed between Vine Hill Road and Sugarloaf, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. May 20-22 because of a paving project. Delays are not expected to exceed 10 minutes.
Dumbarton bridge toll plaza: Various lane closures May 13-16 and May 18-22. One lane will be closed each day; there will be no weekday closures between 6 and 9:30 a.m.
Interstate 80 in the Berkeley area: On-ramp closures from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.: eastbound Powell and westbound Carlson May 20-21; eastbound Ashby Avenue May 22-23.
Interstate 580 near Richmond-San Rafael Bridge toll plaza: Various lane closures on westbound and eastbound I-580, evenings beginning at 7 p.m. (eastbound) and 9 p.m. (westbound), continuing through May.
Highway 1 near San Gregorio Beach: One-way traffic control, regulated by traffic light, about two miles south of Highway 84 through July 15, to allow embankment repair.
Capitol Expressway to southbound Highway 101: Access from eastbound and westbound Capitol to southbound U.S. 101 will be closed from April 11 through September.
Hostetter Road, San Jose: Closure of one lane in each direction between Lundy Avenue and Flickinger Avenue, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and possibly some Sundays, for about eight months starting April 15, 2013.
Highway 9: A construction project continues on a quarter-mile section in Santa Cruz County near Ben Lomond from north of Glen Arbor Road to Highland County Park, south of Holiday Lane . Traffic control consists of a temporary signal with one-way traffic on one of the two lanes, 24 hours a day, and delays of 10 to 15 minutes can be anticipated. Work will be completed in the summer .
