The following calls were among those handled by the Oakley police Nov. 5-11, according to information provided by the Police Department.
Nov. 5
Suspicious circumstances: Officers responded to the 2500 block of Main Street for a report of suspicious circumstances. Burglary: A burglary occurred at a residence in the 4100 block of Brown Road. Petty theft: Officers responded to the 100 block of Clove Court for a report of petty theft.Nov. 6
Accident: An accident with property damage occurred in the 4500 block of Main Street. Battery: Someone was arrested in the 500 block of Norcross Lane for misdemeanor battery.Nov. 7
Stolen vehicle: A vehicle was reported stolen from the 200 block of West Ruby Avenue. Drugs: Someone was arrested on Gardenia Avenue and Main Street for suspicion of being under the influence of drugs. DUI: Someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Empire Avenue and Oakley Road was arrested when determined to be driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or more. Nov. 8
Drugs: Someone was arrested on Main Street and Miguel Drive for possession of suspected drug paraphernalia. Warrant: Someone was arrested in the 2000 block of Cinnamon Ridge Drive for an outstanding warrant. License violation: Someone was cited on Bedford Lane and Empire Avenue for driving with a suspended license. Nov. 9
Civil problem: Officers responded to the 100 block of Maryanne Court for the report of a civil problem. Threats: Someone was arrested in the 100 block of Carol Lane for making threats. Weapon: Someone was arrested at a school on O'Hara Avenue for possession of a weapon on school grounds. Nov. 10
Failure to obey: Someone was arrested in the 1100 block of Bear River Court for failure to obey a police officer. Warrant: Someone was arrested on Sunrise Meadow for an outstanding warrant. DUI: Someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Christy Street and Empire Avenue was arrested when determined to be driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or more. Nov. 11
Weapon: Someone was arrested in the 5700 block of Bridgehead Road for possession of an unlawful weapon. Recovery: Officers recovered a stolen vehicle in the 300 block of Woodview Place.
