MONDAY, Nov. 5
THEFT -- Five pairs of shoes were stolen overnight off a porch of the residence on Albany Terrace. TUESDAY, Nov. 6
ROBBERY -- Shortly before 3 p.m. a caller reported being robbed of about $1,000 a few minutes prior while at the 7-Eleven store on Solano Avenue by two men. They did not use a weapon and were last seen walking on Peralta Avenue toward Marin Avenue. The caller was waiting for officers at the Bank of America on Solano Avenue. WEDNESDAY, Nov. 7
AUTO BREAK-IN -- Items were stolen during the day from a car parked at Golden Gate Fields. TOW -- Officers towed a car at about 6 p.m. that was blocking a driveway on Santa Fe Avenue after a resident complained. AUTO STOLEN -- A woman came to the police station to report her car was stolen from the 900 block of Adams Street during the day. VANDALISM -- During the day vandals shot or threw an object through the window of a hair salon on Solano Avenue near Kains Avenue. THEFT -- Around 9:30 p.m. officers responded to the Target Store in the 1000 block of Eastshore when security reported that a woman had gone into the restroom with clothing items and came out with her handbag full. They arrested the San Pablo woman for suspicion of petty theft. TOW -- At 10 p.m. officers towed a vehicle that was left running in the middle of San Pablo Avenue. The driver was seen walking north away from the car.THURSDAY, Nov. 8
THEFT -- A baby stroller was stolen overnight off the porch of a residence on Tevlin Street.FRIDAY, Nov. 9
DUI -- At about 12:30 p.m. officers arrested a Webster Grove man near Solano and Ramona avenues for suspicion of two counts of DUI. DRUGS -- Officers arrested a Martinez man near San Pablo and Central avenues at about 4 a.m. for suspicion of drug possession. VANDALISM -- During the night vandals knocked over a motorcycle parked on Stannage Avenue and another motorcycle parked on Kains Avenue. ASSAULT -- At 3:30 p.m. officers responded to the 500 block of Pierce Street on reports of a man beating up his girlfriend in the parking garage area. Officers arrested the Albany man for suspicion of assault. AUTO BREAK-IN -- A car was broken into while parked at the Albany Waterfront during the day. AUTO BREAK-IN -- During the early evening thieves smashed the window of a car parked in the Target Store parking lot on the 1000 block of Eastshore and stole items from inside. HOME BREAK-IN -- At 9:30 p.m. a caller reported arriving home to find the Key Route Boulevard residence had been entered through a rear window and property stolen from inside. WARRANT -- Officers responded to Albany High School on Key Route Boulevard at 11 p.m. on reports of a large group of teenagers on the basketball courts playing loud music. Officers arrested one of the group, an Albany man, for an outstanding warrant.SATURDAY, Nov. 10
DUI -- At 1 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle on the 800 block of San Pablo Avenue for a vehicle code violation. They arrested the driver, an Oakland man, for suspicion of DUI. HOME BREAK-IN -- Thieves broke into a home on Evelyn Avenue overnight through a side door and stole items from inside. THEFT -- At 7 p.m. officers received a call from Beverages and More about a man who had just stolen a bottle of liquor. It appeared the suspect hid a bottle wrapped up in a sweater and was gone when officers arrived. DISTURBANCE -- Officers responded to Max's Liquors on San Pablo Avenue at about 10 p.m. when a caller reported that a person was loitering outside the store for about an hour. Officers arrested the transient man for suspicion of drug possession and a probation violation.SUNDAY, Nov. 11
THEFT -- A resident on Key Route Boulevard called at 9 a.m. to report that on Friday she left her back door open for her cat and now her iPad is missing. -- Kristina Osborn
