SAN LEANDRO -- Police are searching for two men a man said robbed him at gunpoint in an apartment complex parking lot Monday afternoon.

At approximately 4 p.m., San Leandro police officers responded to the 200 block of Castro Street, for the report of an armed robbery.

Officers met with a man who stated he had been robbed at gunpoint in one of the parking lots of an apartment complex.

He said two suspects demanded the gold chain he was wearing around his neck. One of the men had a gun.

The man said one of the suspects ripped the chain from his neck and both suspects ran off toward Castro Street.
