DUBLIN -- People who live or work in the city are invited to apply for the spring session of the Dublin Citizens Police Academy, a program for civilians to learn about law enforcement work from police officers.
March 21 is the deadline to apply. The next session will be held Wednesdays from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. from April 3 through June 5.
Applications are available online at www.dublin.ca.gov/, in person at the Dublin police station at 100 Civic Plaza, or by calling Srgt. David Snider at 925-833-6681.
People in the 10-week session will learn about police patrols, evidence collection, drugs and gangs, radio communications and juvenile justice. They also will visit Santa Rita Jail,
