The Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District is accepting letters of interest from district residents to fill a vacancy on the board of directors.
Deadline for submission is Jan. 16. Applicants must be at least 18, live in the Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District, and be a registered voter.
The current board will interview and select the new member at the Jan. 24 meeting, at the district administration office Conference Room, 147 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill. Interviews begin at 6 p.m.
Letters of interest should be submitted to Bob Berggren, general manager of the Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District, 147 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523, or by email at email@example.com.
The board regularly meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month, except in November and December when it is changed to the first and third Thursdays.
