LAFAYETTE -- A free lecture on the Obama presidency will be presented Jan. 17 by Harry Kreisler, executive director of UC Berkeley's Institute of International Studies, at the Lafayette Library and Learning Center in downtown Lafayette.

Kreisler will focus on missed opportunities in President Obama's first term and a look ahead to his second term, with pointers on what to listen for in the president's inaugural address on Jan. 21. Kreisler also brings his perspective as creator, host, and executive producer of "Conversations with History," a program in which he interviews diplomats, military leaders, artists, activists, and writers about their work and ideas.

The lecture is set to begin at 1:30 p.m., and last about 90 minutes. To RSVP, go to goo.gl/OXhG8 or for more information, visit olli.berkeley.edu or call 510-642-9934.
