HERCULES -- The City Council is seeking residents to apply to serve on two city panels and to represent the city on two countywide panels:

  • Hercules Planning Commission -- three vacancies;

  • Hercules Community and Library Services Commission -- three vacancies, in addition to a youth commissioner slot;

  • Contra Costa Mosquito and Vector Control Board;

  • Contra Costa County Council on Aging.

    Terms are for two years, with the exception of the library services youth commissioner, who serves a one-year term.

    Applicants must reside in Hercules and be at least 18 years old, with the exception of the youth commissioner, who must be a high school student.
