Patty Cakes Story Time: 11-11:20 a.m. Tuesdays through March 5. For children up to 3 years old attending with a caregiver, the program features songs, rhymes and stories with an aim to early literacy.
Picture Book Time: 11-11:30 a.m. Thursdays through March 7. Children 3-5 years old may attend without a caregiver.
Book Buddies: 1-2 p.m. Wednesdays. A book buddy volunteer reader is in the library to read stories to children of all ages.
Comic Book Workshop: 4-4:45 p.m. March 11. Author and artist Oliver Chin shows aspiring artists how to create their own comic books/graphic novels. Participants will learn how to write and draw their own stories, and get free comics. Best for ages 6-11. The event is sponsored by the Clayton Community Library Foundation.
Kindle Confusion? Nook Nerves? iPad Anxiety? 7-8:30 p.m. Feb. 20. A free workshop presented by Doug Thomas for adults wanting to learn to use e-Readers, smart phones, tablets or other book devices. Register by Feb. 19.
Clayton Community Library 101: An Introduction: 7-8 p.m. Feb. 27. Adults can learn about how to access magazine articles, borrow a book that the library does not own, the save, list, search and vacation hold options on the visual catalog, and more. There will a brief presentation and time for discussion and questions. Space is limited and registration is required.
Clayton Library Book Club: 7-9 p.m. the second Mondays, and open to anyone interested. On March 11, Sunny Solomon leads the discussion of "The Snow Child," by Eowyn Ivey.

Preschool Story Time: 10:30-11 a.m. Wednesdays, is for children 3-5 and features stories and songs. The next session is Feb. 27-April 3.
Bilingual Storytime: 1:30-2 p.m. March 4. Kids ages 0-5 can listen to stories and songs in English and Spanish.
LEGO & Listen: 7 p.m. Feb. 25, March 11. Kids ages 6-12 can build with Lego blocks while listening to a recorded book. Space is limited and registration is required.
Toddler Tumble Time: noon-1:15 p.m. Thursdays through Feb. 28. Early literacy for children up to age 3 1/2. Space is limited to 25, and registration is required.
All Ears Reading Insiders Group: 2-3 p.m. March 13. Adults with developmental disabilities are invited to practice their reading skills to gentle listeners -- dogs. In partnership with ARF, dog teams will be available for a short one-on-one reading session. Participants should sign up at the door upon arrival.
Concord Mystery Book Club: 2:30 p.m. the second Sunday of the month, and mystery lovers are invited to join the group. On March 10, the discussion will be on "The Queen's Man," by Sharon Kay Penman.
Knitting and crochet group: 1:15-4:45 p.m. March 3. Knitters and crocheters of all levels are welcome. Drop in anytime to knit, crochet and network. Free knitting instruction during first half of class by Melanie Mintz, and free crocheting help the second half of class by Chris Curtiss.
