BYRON -- Drivers who use Vasco Road to travel from the East Contra Costa region to Alameda County and beyond may want to find another route next week.
Weather permitting, contractors will be doing road work on the busy thoroughfare from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Feb. 28 between Camino Diablo and Brushy Creek to replace roadway delineators, according to a Contra Costa County Public Works department news release.
Traffic will be controlled throughout the work area. Electronic signs will warn drivers of the upcoming road work to change the dividers.
Motorists should expect delays and allow for extra travel time.
