Eagles on a roll entering NCS playoffs

Hailey Pascoe (23) and the Clayton Valley High girls basketball team completed an undefeated run (12-0) through the Diablo Valley Athletic League to win a second league title in the last three seasons. Wins over Mt. Diablo and Concord in the final week of the season finished the job. Senior Ashley Allen is the Eagles' scoring leader, averaging 18.3 points a per game, as they head into the North Coast Section Division II playoffs. Clayton Valley (20-6) received the No. 2 seed and will host either Casa Grande-Petaluma or Washington-Fremont on Friday at 7 p.m.
