The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Jan. 28-Feb. 2, according to information provided by the Police Department.
Jan. 28
Warrant: At 12:09 a.m. someone contacted during a traffic stop on Central Boulevard was arrested when determined to have an outstanding warrant. Recovery: At 12:37 p.m. officers recovered a stolen vehicle out of Arizona on Nancy Street. Assault: At 1:08 p.m. a male juvenile was arrested at a school on Minnesota Avenue for bullying after throwing food and verbally harassing another juvenile. Victim suffered minor injuries that were treated at the school. Jan. 29
Burglary: At 10:43 a.m. a male reported a wallet containing a driver's license and $52 in cash were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Sycamore Avenue. Accident: At 11:44 a.m. officers responded to a noninjury misdemeanor hit-and-run accident on Balfour Road. Warrant: At 11:50 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on the Highway 4 bypass was arrested when found to have an active arrest warrant with a $50,000 bond. Jan. 30
Weapon/drugs: At 5:22 a.m. someone contacted in a parked vehicle on Crescent Drive was arrested for possession of a concealed firearm, suspected methamphetamine, hydrocodone and drug paraphernalia. Grand theft: At 11:40 a.m. a female resident on Sand Creek Road reported the catalytic converter was stolen from her vehicle. Burglary: At 12:51 p.m. construction tools and materials were reported stolen from a location on Havenwood Avenue. Jan. 31
Stolen vehicle: At 6:56 a.m. a resident on St. Andrews Drive reported his running vehicle was stolen from the driveway when he left it unattended. Burglary: At 11:20 a.m. it was reported a residence on Coventry Place was burglarized resulting in the theft of four firearms. Entry was made through an unlocked rear sliding door. Burglary: At 7:56 p.m. it was reported a residence on Gold Poppy Court was burglarized resulting in the theft of a small safe and jewelry. Entry was made through an unlocked rear window. Feb. 1
Drugs: At 11:28 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Fairside Way was arrested for suspicion of drug possession. Accident: At 8:02 p.m. a noninjury accident occurred on Sand Creek Road causing major damage to one of the vehicles. Shots fired: At 9:12 p.m. officers responded to a report of shots fired into an occupied vehicle on Corte Vista Street.Feb. 2
Stolen property: At 4:57 a.m. someone observed looking through the windows of vehicle on Guise Way was arrested when found to be in possession of a stolen gas can and gas. Drugs: At 5:52 p.m. someone was arrested on Lone Tree Way for suspicion of being under the influence of a central nervous stimulant. Dispute: At 10:11 p.m. someone involved in a family dispute on Havenwood Avenue was arrested when determined to be too intoxicated to care for himself. -- Nan Hargis
