Drivers headed through Pittsburg and Antioch should expect more delays on Highway 4 this week as work continues to widen the road to eight lanes.
All lanes of eastbound Highway 4 will be closed in Pittsburg at Loveridge Road from 12:30 to 5:30 a.m. overnight Wednesday and Thursday, and 1:30 to 5:30 a.m. overnight Friday.
All westbound lanes will be closed between the Somersville Road/Auto Center Drive exit in Antioch and Loveridge from 11 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. overnight Wednesday and Thursday and midnight to 3:30 a.m. Friday, according to a Caltrans news release.
Also this week, a single eastbound lane will be closed between Railroad Avenue and Loveridge from midnight to 6 a.m. Wednesday through Friday. It will also be closed from the Contra Loma Boulevard/L Street exit to the Highway 160 interchange 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday.
A single westbound lane will be closed between the Highway 160 interchange and Loveridge from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. overnight Wednesday and Thursday and 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday.
The "loop" onramp from southbound Loveridge onto eastbound Highway 4 will be closed this week 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday through Friday. The westbound off-ramp to Somersville Road/Auto Center will be closed 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday through Friday.
