Bowler of the week: Tim Piper Sr. of the Reno Trip league bowled a 268 on the way to a great 782 set.

K5 Signs/First Choice Construction, Lupeika Taxes Monday Madness (four game sets): High for the week was William Thomas with a 916 set. William was followed by: Don Ward, 885, Brian Walker, 865 and Harvey Grasso, 857.

League bowling: High for the men this week after Tim Piper Sr. was Eric Adolphson of the Nisei Invitational league with a 742 set. Other good sets were bowled by: Bruce Fouche, (Brunswick Trios) 742; Bill Cooley, (Match Play Singles) 719; Gregory Brock, (Reno Trip) 710; William Thomas, (Brunswick Trios) 709 and Steve Myers, (Santa Rita Employees & Friends) 707.

High for the ladies this week was Karen Adolphson of the Nisei Invitational league with a 602 set. Other good sets were rolled by: Regina Palmore, (PBA Experience) 601 and Elaine Slocum, (Brunswick Trios) 590.

High for the seniors was Rich Hiner of Earl's Pearls with a 683 set. Rich was followed by: Chuck Leming, (Earl's Pearls) 640; Ann Liu, (Earl's Pearls) 582 and Gloria Zuckerman, (Earl's Pearls) 568.

The next Gold Pin Tournament is scheduled for 1 p.m. September 21st and is open to the first 36 bowlers signed up. The shot will be the Cheetah pattern. There are optional side pots, a 300 pot and brackets. This is a USBC certified tournament.
