The Piedmont Asian American Club will be holding its annual dinner celebration from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 25 at Legendary Palace, 708 Franklin St., Oakland.

Syndi Seid, called the world's leading etiquette trainer, will be the featured speaker. Seid has appeared on ABC's "Good Morning America," CBS' "Eye on America," Fox's "Trading Spouses," HGTV's "Party At Home," and Discovery Channel's "Picture This." Major companies like Hewlett-Packard Worldwide, Sprint International, National Semiconductor, Marriott Hotels, Mandarin Oriental Hotel, and the Miss Universe Pageant trust her to train their employees to avoid social faux pas that could lead to major business and political blunders.

As founder of Advanced Etiquette worldwide, Syndi travels to help senior executives, business professionals, and mainline employees overcome fears and insecurities to gain poise, confidence and authority.

The cost of the event is $25 each for members and $35 for nonmembers and at the door.
