Tuesday, Oct. 1

  • 12:19 p.m. -- Blair Avenue. A resident reported being bitten by a dog 10 days ago at Dracena Park.

  • 2:49 p.m.--- Moraga and Highland avenues. Someone reported a hit-and-run accident.

  • 6:47 p.m. -- La Salle and Sea View avenues. The driver of a blue, four-door vehicle was driving recklessly.

  • 10:34 p.m. -- Arroyo Avenue and York Drive. A caller reported hearing possible shots fired that turned out to be fireworks.

    Wednesday, Oct. 2

  • 5:50 p.m. -- Oakland Avenue. A caller reported seeing a man with a gun and holster on the front porch of a home in front of Havens Elementary School. He was an off-duty police officer.

    Thursday, Oct. 3

  • 10:31 a.m. -- Bellevue and Mountain avenues. The driver of a blue Ford Thunderbird was driving recklessly.

  • 12:09 p.m. -- Hillside Avenue. Someone attempted to steal a 1990 Ford Ranger.

  • 11:11 p.m. -- Prospect Road. A resident reported hearing someone stumbling in her backyard and possibly had tried to open the back door.

    Friday, Oct. 4

  • 7:58 a.m. -- El Cerrito and Oakland avenues. Someone stole a bicycle from a garage.

    Saturday, OCT 5

  • 2:14 p.m. -- Lexford Road. A woman reported that between $20,000 and $30,000 worth of jewelry was missing from her home.

  • 3:51 p.m. -- Kingston Avenue. A residential burglary was reported.

    Sunday, Oct. 6

  • 3:38 p.m. -- Grand and Sunnyside avenues. A man in a silver Nissan was seen filming children as they were leaving the ballet theater.

  • 8:54 p.m. -- Magnolia Avenue. A juvenile was released to his parent after police confiscated his cigarettes, a Hookah pipe and a pocket knife.

    Monday, Oct. 7

  • 1:19 a.m. -- Highland Avenue. A resident reported hearing a noise in the neighbor's yard. It turned out to be the sound of raccoons.

  • 8:56 a.m. -- Bonita Avenue and Park Way. Someone broke a window on an SUV.

  • 9:20 a.m. -- Bonita Avenue. Someone vandalized a vehicle.

  • 10:01 a.m. -- Park Way. A resident reported that he had hired a mariachi band on the Internet and the musicians never showed up.

  • 6:42 p.m. -- Blair and Mountain avenues. Three people in a silver Prius were throwing water balloons at other vehicles.
