Marilyn is a freckled joy of a dog. She is attentive, well behaved, and loves a good petting from anyone that happens to cross her path. This 3-year-old, 50-pounder loves to walk by her person's side while exploring every nook and cranny of the world around her and is also pretty adept at laying around the house and hitting the "snooze" button when left to her own devices. She gets along well with other dogs and could most likely take up residence in a home with dog savvy cats if properly introduced.

  • Sweet Luna has been waiting patiently for her new home since July. Like many cats she can be slow to adjust to change, but once comfortable, she's friendly, playful and affectionate. This 8-year-old will make a wonderful companion for many years to come. Here's what her foster mom says:

"After just two days in our home, Luna let us know she was ready to claim the apartment as her own. Her curiosity peaked and, before we knew it, she was finding sun spots to bask in, climbing on the cat tree to peek out the window, and (best of all) insisting on cuddle time at bedtime. She's still a little nervous around loud noises and quick movements but, otherwise, Luna is quite the entertainer.

"She may not be a lap cat but she is comforted by the presence of humans. She'll do fine with other cats with proper introduction, though she'd be perfectly happy as the only child. Luna is a quirky but perfect roommate!"

Thanks to a generous donation from Maddie's Fund, Luna's adoption fee has been waived!
