  • ROBBERY -- At 8 p.m., a woman tried to swipe a cell phone from a business in the 1600 block of University Avenue, pushing and threatening a store employee who confronted her. The employee managed to hold on to the phone and the woman fled.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 2300 and 3000 blocks of Dwight Way.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- Businesses were burglarized in the 700 block of Potter Street and the 2900 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Items worth more than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2800 block of College Avenue and the 1900 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2100 block of Center Street, the 2400 block of Durant Avenue and the 1800 block of Vine Street.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from parked vehicles in the 3200 block of Adeline Street; the 1700 block of Alcatraz Avenue; at Durant Avenue and Milvia Street; the 2900 block of Dwight Way; at Fifth and Gilman streets; the 1000 block of Gilman Avenue; the 2700 block of Le Conte Avenue and the 2900 block of San Pablo Avenue.

    SATURDAY, DEC. 7

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 1600 block of Harmon Street, the 2800 block of Milvia Street and the 1100 block of Oxford Street.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen at Dwight Way and Ninth Street; two in the 1700 block of Fourth Street; and the 3200 block of Sacramento Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations near San Pablo Avenue and Virginia Street and the 1900 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 1500 block of Addison Street, the 2400 block of Dwight Way and the 2500 block of Regent Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations at Center Street and Shattuck Avenue and the 1000 block of Folger Avenue.

    MONDAY, DEC. 9

  • ROBBERY -- At 9:40 a.m., an armed man approached a woman near Tremont and Woolsey streets, demanded personal property at gunpoint, and fled with her backpack, driving off in a black Toyota sedan.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Someone burglarized a home in the 2100 block of Roosevelt Avenue.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- Someone burglarized a business in the 1200 block of San Pablo Avenue.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen in the 2800 block of Shasta Road and the 2800 block of Wallace Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2600 block of Durant Avenue, the 2400 block of Ellsworth Street and the 2200 block of Milvia Street.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Someone stole property from a vehicle at Lincoln Street and Shattuck Avenue.

    TUESDAY, DEC. 10

  • ROBBERY -- At 1 p.m., two men physically assaulted a man returning home in the 1100 block of Grizzly Peak Boulevard, blasting him with pepper spray. The pair took his bag and drove off in a silver Lexus.

  • ROBBERY -- At 6:11 p.m., a man came up behind a woman and shoved her, knocking her to the ground near Dohr and Russell streets. The victim started screaming. The suspect then punched her, grabbed her cell phone and ran off.

  • ROBBERY -- At 8:30 p.m., a male and a female, both juveniles, ran toward a female pedestrian, pushed her up against a wall, demanded her personal belongings, fleeing with her purse and cell phone.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles at Ashby and College avenues and in the 700 block of Gilman Street.

    WEDNESDAY, DEC. 11

  • ROBBERY -- At 8:50 p.m., two men -- one with a gun -- accosted a man near Bay and Potter streets, taking his wallet and cell phone.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Someone burglarized a home in the 2600 block of San Pablo Avenue.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Items worth more than $950 were stolen from a location in the 1800 block of Fourth Street.

  • THEFT -- Someone stole less than $950 worth of items from a location in the 2300 block of Telegraph Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 1800 block of Fourth Street and the 1500 and 1600 blocks of University Avenue.

    THURSDAY, DEC. 12

  • ROBBERY -- At 12:01 a.m., a man stole an iPad from a store in the 2300 block of Telegraph Avenue. Two employees then chased after the suspect who punched one of them before fleeing in a cream-colored sedan.

  • ROBBERY -- At 2:04 a.m., a man wielding a gun came up to a man who was sitting on some steps in the 2500 block of Bancroft Way. The assailant demanded personal property and struck the victim with the weapon, then fleeing with his laptop.

  • ASSAULT -- At 9:50 a.m., a man yelled at a male pedestrian at Fulton and Kittredge streets, accusing him of stealing property and threatening to strike him with a board. The victim started a conversation in hopes of diffusing the situation and then started to walk away. The first man struck him with the board, causing serious injury. The victim was taken to a hospital.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Someone stole a vehicle in the 2500 block of Regent Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2400 block of Ashby Avenue and the 1500 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Someone stole items from a vehicle in the 2600 block of Hillegass Avenue.
