MONDAY, Dec. 16

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- Thieves broke into a car overnight on Talbot Avenue.

    TUESDAY, Dec. 17

  • TRESPASSING -- At 5:30 a.m. officers issued a warning to a small group of campers in the Target parking lot near the train tracks at the request of store security.

  • STOLEN GOODS -- Officers arrested a 19-year-old man at the Albany Bulb at about 8 p.m. for suspicion of three counts of possession of stolen property.

  • RESISTANCE -- Shortly before midnight officers contacted a 27-year-old man acting suspiciously on Buchanan Street near Interstate 80. They arrested him for suspicion of fighting with an officer and resisting arrest.

    WEDNESDAY, Dec. 18

  • VANDALISM -- Vandals smashed the sunroof of a car overnight on Stannage Avenue.

    THURSDAY, Dec. 19

  • THEFT -- A Washington Avenue resident reported that Christmas lights were stolen overnight from his yard.

  • AUTO BREAK-IN & THEFT -- Thieves broke into a car overnight on Taft Street and stole items from inside. A different vehicle on Taft was stolen during the night.

  • CITATIONS -- At 2:30 p.m. officers issued a citation to a vehicle blocking a driveway on San Carlos Street after the resident complained. Officers cited a vehicle on Cornell Avenue for the same infraction.

  • ROBBERY -- At 7 p.m. officers arrested a 49-year-old man near Curtis Street and Marin Avenue for suspicion of three counts of burglary and one count of robbery.

  • DOUBLE BREAK-INS -- At 9 p.m. a caller reported that within the previous 90 minutes thieves smashed the rear passenger window of a car parked near Solano Grill on Solano Avenue and stole a laptop from inside. A few minutes later a caller reported that thieves smashed the rear passenger to their car parked in the Sizzler parking lot and stole items from inside.

    FRIDAY, Dec. 20

  • AUTO THEFT & BREAK-INS -- During the night thieves stole a car on Brighton Avenue and broke into cars on both Pierce Street and Pomona Avenue.

  • ARREST -- At 1 a.m. officers arrested a 26-year-old woman living on San Pablo Dam Road for suspicion of four counts of burglary

  • BREAK-INS -- At 7:30 p.m. thieves smashed the rear passenger window of a car parked near Christopher's Nothing Fancy Café on San Pablo Avenue and stole a laptop and duffle bag. About 30 minutes officers received reports of two cars with smashed rear passenger windows near Portola Organic Café on San Pablo Avenue.

  • CAR JACKING -- A carjacking was reported on Talbot Avenue at 8 p.m. Three men in their mid-20s wearing black hoodies and baggy jeans, one carrying a black handgun, threatened the victim and pushed him to the ground. The thieves also took his cell phone and wallet. They were last seen heading east on Brighton Avenue.

    SATURDAY, Dec. 21

  • TRAFFIC VIOLATION -- At 1 a.m. officers investigated a person acting suspiciously in the 800 block of San Pablo Avenue. They arrested the 42-year-old man for suspicion of two counts of driving with a suspended license.

  • DISTURBANCE -- Officers arrested a 19-year-old man on San Pablo Avenue near Garfield Street at 2:30 a.m. for suspicion of disorderly conduct and being a minor in possession of alcohol.

  • BURGLAR -- At 8 a.m. officers arrested a 49-year-old man at Target in the 1000 block of Eastshore for suspicion of theft and possession of burglary tools when security called to ask for assistance.

    SUNDAY, Dec. 22

  • DUI -- At 4 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle in the 1000 block of San Pablo Avenue for a vehicle code violation. They arrested a 50-year-old man for suspicion of two counts of DUI and driving with a suspended license.

  • DUI -- Officers stopped a vehicle near Solano and Cleveland avenues at about 8:30 p.m. for a vehicle code violation and arrested a 48-year-old man for suspicion of DUI.
