PLEASANTON -- An all-day jazz festival Saturday will feature music of jazz bands and combos from 24 Bay Area high school and middle schools.

The 39th annual Campana Jazz Festival will be held from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Amador Valley High School, 1155 Santa Rita Road, Pleasanton.

Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for students and senior citizens. Admission is free for children 5 or younger.

Schools from the East Bay, San Jose and San Mateo will have groups competing in six different divisions. Gourmet food trucks will sell food between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
