Spike is a big 34-pound, 1-year-old goofy guy with a giant heart. He can't quite decide what kind of dog he is, so he's sort of a grab bag when it comes to breed. Big dog? Long dog? Hound? Spike's got a bit of each!! He loves to play and is a big fan of all types of toys. You can tell he definitely has some hound in him, because his sense of smell is impeccable. He would be a great dog to do nose training with. Spike loves other dogs and has lived with cats in the past.
Gandhi is an amazing 6-year-old cat who greets everyone he meets with an inquisitive look, as if saying "hello, are you here to spoil me?" He has soft, beautiful, bushy black fur (with a speckled white patch thrown in for interest) and the sweetest personality imaginable. Gandhi is looking forward to a long lifetime of cat naps with his new family, with some playtime and grooming mixed in for good measure. With his mellow and easygoing personality, Gandhi will be a good fit in most homes and will probably do well with other furry friends (after a proper introduction).
Here's what his foster says: "Gandhi adores attention and will run to the door to greet you when you come home and demand pets and love. He isn't too overbearing though; he stops after a bit and will lay close to you without being too vocal."
