10U Divsion

Alameda Auto Body Purple Poison 5, Next Level Speed Demons 1: After a two-week layoff the Speed Demons lost to the Purple Poison 5-1. Tess Rogers, Lareina Solis, Ariana Strauser and Taylor Andolsek led the offense with base hits. Kenna Davis also reached base with a perfectly placed bunt. In the field, Cate Rosenbaum dropped down a quick tag for an out at third, while teammates Sophie Eastwood, Annabel Fiero and Meg Rosenbaum also contributed good defense.

Dr. Johnson Royals 8, Alameda Police Assn. Red Hot Chilli Peppers 7: The Royals held off the Red Hot Chilli Peppers with stellar defense from Kayla Chang, Ashlie Nakano and Kylie Mesterhazy. Nakano and Mesterhazy struck out six batters apiece while Chang made all three (unassisted) outs in the first inning, and two more crucial putouts late in the game.

8U Division

Supercuts Black Thunder 4, Ross, Sinclaire & Associates Green Goblins 2: The Thunder set the tone with an early four-run lead. The Goblins answered with two runs in the third inning on hits from Clara Milsten and Lola Whalen. Lindsey Duncan, Teagan Shannon and Mikah Salemi provided strong defense in the field and pitchers Ella Chae and Anne Rosenbaum kept the game close.
