Valley residents will be able to relax and enjoy great outdoor concerts -- for free -- this summer throughout the area. So grab a blanket, pack a picnic and enjoy a warm night of music under the stars with these performances.

Summer concerts from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Livorna Park, located at Livorna Road and Miranda Avenue.
June 20: The Sun Kings (Beatles music)
July 11: The fabulous Cruise Tones (dance music)
July 25: El Desayuno (Latin band)
Aug. 8: Moonalice (rock, country, blues)
Music in the Park, 6-8 p.m.
July 12: Super Diamond (Neil Diamond tribute band), this performance will be held at the Town Green, 420 Front St.
July 26: East Bay Mudd, Oak Hill Park, 3005 Stone Valley Road.
Aug. 9: Apple Z; Town Green, 420 Front St.
Aug. 23: Mike Amaral's California Beach Boys, Oak Hill Park, 3005 Stone Valley Road.
Summer Concert Series, 7-8:30 p.m., 3380 Blackhawk Plaza Circle in Danville. Concerts are free, but concertgoers have the option of reserved seating either by purchasing $50 VIP tickets or by showing sales receipts from plaza shops from the preceding week. Summer Concerts in the Park from 5:30-8 p.m. at Central Park, 12501 Alcosta Blvd. Adult beverages, soda and ice cream will be available for purchase.

Shamrock'n Sundays concert series, 5-7 p.m. at Emerald Glen Park, located at the intersection of Tassajara Road and Central Parkway. Food and beverages available for purchase.
July 13: TW (party band featuring music from the '60s to today)
Aug. 10: Take2 (party band)
Sept. 7: Solsa (pop, dance, R&B, rock and Latin music)
Pleasanton Concert in the Park, 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Lions Wayside Park, corner of First and Neal streets. Twelve concerts from Friday through Aug. 29 will feature music ranging from rock, blues and big band to oldies, soul and Latin rock.
