  • AUTO BURGLARY -- An estimated $3,000 worth of electronics was stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight in the 8500 block of Terrace Drive.

  • RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY -- A home in the 1500 block of Navellier Street was entered between 11:45 a.m. and 2:10 p.m. by breaking a sliding-glass door and $6,600 in jewelry was stolen.

    Saturday, June 21

  • VEHICLE RECOVERY -- A 2014 Nissan Altima stolen from a Marin County dealership about two months ago was found abandoned in a parking lot at 11555 San Pablo Ave.

  • DUI -- A car was stopped at 1:37 a.m. at Carlson Boulevard and San Pablo Avenue for a vehicle code violation and a 31-year-old Hercules man was arrested for driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.

  • STOLEN PROPERTY -- A 25-year-old Richmond man on probation for auto theft was contacted at 3 a.m. at Glen Mawr and Hudson avenues and arrested when it was determined he was in possession of property just stolen from a location about three blocks away.

  • STOLEN PROPERTY -- A 30-year-old Pinole woman was arrested at a traffic stop at 2 p.m. at Arlington Boulevard and Scenic Street when it was determined she was in possession of shaved keys, a credit card skimmer, and credit cards that did not belong to her. A 26-year-old San Pablo woman in the car was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and shaved keys, and a 37-year-old Vallejo man was arrested on two no-bail warrants for a probation violation.

  • WARRANT ARREST -- A 28-year-old El Cerrito man wanted on a misdemeanor theft warrant was arrested at 10 p.m. at San Pablo and Fairmount avenues.

    Sunday, June 22

  • HIT AND RUN -- The driver of a Honda collided with a wall of the Freeway Motel at 11600 San Pablo Ave. at 2:40 a.m., then fled on Cutting Boulevard into Richmond, where RPD officers arrested him for DUI after subsequent collisions.

  • RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY -- About $1,500 worth of jewelry was stolen from a home in the 100 block of Ashbury Avenue that was entered via an unlocked kitchen door.

  • FORGERY -- A 32-year-old Orinda woman, who police determined passed two fraudulent checks worth $800 at Pic-n-Pac, 10012 San Pablo Ave., on June 8, was positively identified in a lineup by the reporting party.

  • DISORDERLY CONDUCT -- A 37-year-old El Cerrito man was found to be intoxicated and in possession of drug paraphernalia when police responded to a report of a man digging in a trash bin at 5 p.m. The man refused to complete a breath test, a violation of his probation status. On being arrested, he kicked and dented the side of the police car.

    Monday, June 23

  • DRUNK IN PUBLIC -- A 55-year-old Richmond man was arrested after he was "found highly intoxicated on the sidewalk and unable to care for his safety" at Lexington and Gladys avenues.

  • WARRANT -- A 25-year-old Oakland man was arrested on a $5,000 traffic warrant during an enforcement stop at Potrero Avenue at South 45th Street.

  • WARRANT -- A 52-year-old transient woman was arrested on a misdemeanor El Cerrito warrant 7:26 p.m. in the 3400 block of Belmont Avenue.

  • WARRANT -- A 24-year-old El Cerrito man was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant at 10:45 p.m. in the 900 block of Liberty Street.

  • WARRANT -- A 51 year old El Cerrito man was arrested at 1:30 a.m. at Knott and San Pablo avenues on two misdemeanor Lake County warrants.

  • STOLEN VEHICLE -- A 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe reported stolen overnight in the 5300 block of Potrero Avenue was located burned in Oakland. "The validity of the theft is still being investigated," according to police.

  • THEFT FROM VEHICLE -- A laptop and other items were reported stolen overnight from a vehicle in the 5600 block of El Dorado Avenue.

  • VEHICLE BURGLARY -- A window was broken and a cell phone and $250 were taken from a vehicle at Walgreens on San Pablo Avenue between 1:40 and 1:49 p.m.

    Wednesday, June 25th

  • LOADED FIREARM -- A 32-year-old Oakland woman and 42-year-old Richmond man were arrested during an 8:15 a.m. expired registration stop at San Pablo Ave. at Potrero Ave. after a search by officers turned up two loaded firearms in the vehicle. The woman was released after the pair was interviewed by the investigating officer.

  • FOUND PROPERTY -- A University of San Francisco faculty member contacted El Cerrito Police after the "find my iPhone" app showed her missing device was in the back yard of a residence in the 500 block of Clayton Avenue. A 25-year-old El Cerrito man at the residence told officers he had found the phone and planned to return it when he could get it charged. The case will be forwarded to the Contra Costa District Attorney's office for review.

    Thursday, June 26

  • AUTO BURGLARY -- A laptop was stolen in the evening from a car at 11861 San Pablo Ave. after the front and rear passenger window were smashed.

  • AUTO BURGLARY -- A backpack with an Xbox 1 and games inside was stolen in the evening from a car at El Cerrito Plaza after a window was smashed.

  • AUTO BURGLARY -- Property was stolen in the evening from a car at El Cerrito Plaza after a window was smashed.

  • AUTO BURGLARY -- A backpack was stolen from a car at 11565 San Pablo Ave. after the rear right window was broken. Witnesses saw a man flee in a white vehicle.

  • PROBATION VIOLATION -- Officers at 10:30 p.m. saw a 36-year-old transient man who was in the driveway of Atlas Liquors, 11382 San Pablo Ave., even though he is on probation for alcohol related offenses and banned from being in front of the business. He was also under the influence of alcohol in violation of his probation. He was arrested and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.
