Meet Astro, a sweet and gentle little dog who wants nothing more than to snooze in his favorite person's warm lap. He is easygoing and gets along well with other dogs. He'd probably even learn to live peacefully with dog-savvy cats given proper introduction. Like all young dogs, Astro will benefit from ongoing socialization and plenty of fun, dog-friendly training. Astro is 8 months old and weighs 10 pounds.
Quilty and Queue have been awaiting an adopter since early June and are growing up before our eyes. They started out as shy and nervous little kittens afraid to trust people. They've come a long way and are now relaxed, confident and trusting. They may be a bit nervous when meeting new people, but after a few soft words and gentle chin rubs, they'll open up and show off their playful and curious personalities.
Their foster says Quilty (black) "has always been the least shy about being handled and seems to tolerate it very well, not fearful; makes me think she'd be a good fit for a busy household, because she is pretty calm (but also) curious and active, too."
Queue (black and white) "would rather run around than be cuddled. I think she is going to be one of those busy active cats always into something. Toys are the way to her heart. She is not particularly shy. Very curious."
