Berkeley's City Council Tuesday night unanimously passed a resolution restricting travel to Arizona and will look into canceling contracts with businesses there in reaction to a new state law allowing police to question and detain people they think are in the U.S. illegally.

Berkeley joins Oakland, Richmond, San Francisco, and San Pablo, which already have passed measures aimed at taking away business from companies in the state.

Other cities, such as Newark and Walnut Creek, will steer clear of the issue.
