HAYWARD -- Designers will be at Kennedy Park on Saturday asking residents for ideas on how to improve the park.
Hayward Area Recreation and Park District is updating its master plan for the park, which is the most heavily used one in the district, attracting people from throughout the region.
Designers from RRM Design Group will be at the park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. handing out fliers and talking to parkgoers.
The architects will take the comments and design some general concepts for the park, one of the first steps in refining a plan.
More feedback will be sought from the community and the district board before a master plan is adopted.
