The host Eagles took a 17-8 lead early in the third quarter and held on to hand Tomales its first North Central II loss of the season.

Tomales (4-2, 2-1) took the lead initially on a touchdown run by Cody Titus. But a field goal by Connor Baer and an 85-yard touchdown run by Brian Freeman helped gave California School for the Deaf (5-1, 3-1) an 10-8 lead. Freeman broke the CSD career rushing record in the game.

A 25-yard touchdown run by Jacy Dike-Pedersen helped give the Eagles a 17-8 lead, and they held that advantage until the fourth quarter when Titus scored a touchdown on a short catch.

Tomales had two more possessions, but lost the ball on downs both times.
