UNION CITY -- A man was in stable condition Thursday after being shot outside a local Taco Bell following an altercation with a group of people, police said.
Officers responded at about 10 p.m. Saturday to the fast food restaurant at 32002 Alvarado Boulevard for a report of a shooting, Cmdr. Ben Horner said. There police found a group of males in the parking lot, one who had been shot.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and was listed in stable condition Thursday, Horner said.
Investigators determined the victim was with a group of friends when they were confronted by another group.
Angry words were exchanged, an argument ensued and one of the subjects in the second group pulled out a gun and began to shoot at the first group, Horner said.
