FREMONT -- A man attempted to lure a woman into his car with alcohol, drugs and movies over the weekend at a city park, police said.

The 20-year-old woman who reported the incident was not injured.

Officers were called at 10:14 p.m. Saturday to Northgate Community Park on Paseo Padre Parkway at Milton and Rowland drives for a report of a suspicious circumstance, police spokeswoman Geneva Bosques said Tuesday.

The victim told police that a man driving a dark colored, "black-oxidized vehicle" with "flip up" headlights harassed her and repeatedly attempted to entice her into his car with alcohol, drugs and movies.

At one point the suspect told the victim she was pretty and put his arms around her, Bosques said.

The victim then called her father, who arrived on the scene shortly after. The victim got into her father's car who drove home to report the incident.

Police said the suspect is described as a black man, between 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a jeans jacket, dark pants and diamond stud earrings.
