Ten minute delays were reported on the Pittsburg/Bay Point BART line after a power outage in the Orinda area briefly disrupted service Wednesday night, BART officials said.
All BART service was back on schedule by just before 7 p.m. after the system recovered from a brief power outage near Orinda, a BART dispatcher said. The Orinda station briefly went dark, but was restored minutes later.
By about 8 p.m., power had been restored to all but 100 customers, PG&E reported via Twitter. The outage, which darkened about 1,500 homes, was caused by a downed power line near Moraga Way and Brookwood Road.
No estimated time of restoration was immediately available.
