ANTIOCH -- Representatives from the state's Department of Water Resources will host a forum to discuss local and regional water issues Friday at the Antioch Community Center, 4703 Lone Tree Way.
The event, which will be from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., will include discussion on statewide and local efforts in the Delta on issues such as levee conditions, economic sustainability, water transfers and habitat plans.
Other discussion items include looking at the key components of the California Water Plan Update 2013 Regional Report, along with regional priorities, accomplishments and challenges to date.
Several Delta advocacy groups will give updates on their plans and work.
Lunch is $10. There will be a webinar link to the meeting.
