UNION CITY -- Holiday lights have been turned on for another season on Queen Anne Court.

More than 20 homes on the street are decorated with Christmas lights, and residents are inviting everyone to drive by and enjoy them each night from 6 to 10:30 p.m.

As they do, they also can donate nonperishable food items in large barrels set up along the street. The food, and any monetary donations, will be given to the Alameda County Food Bank.

The lights and donation barrels are an annual tradition on Queen Anne Court, said resident William Scalice.
