PITTSBURG -- A 25-year-old Concord man was wounded in a shooting Wednesday night, but refused to cooperate with police.

The shooting was reported shortly after 10 p.m. in the 300 block of West 11th Street, according to Pittsburg police Lt. Ron Raman. The victim was found with a gunshot wound to the shoulder, and was taken to a hospital, where he was in stable condition.

The man, who has a prior arrest with the Pittsburg Police Department, was "not cooperative relative to the circumstances of the incident," Raman said.

Police are actively pursuing leads in the shooting, Raman said, but no suspect description was available. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Pittsburg police at 925-646-2441.
