A man and a woman were injured Sunday when the vehicle they were sitting in was hit by an alleged intoxicated driver, police said.
A 27-year-old Bellflower woman was arrested and booked for felony DUI. She is being held at Long Beach City Jail on $100,000 bail, said Nancy Pratt, a Long Beach police spokeswoman. Police didn't release the woman's name.
The crash occurred at about 7:15 a.m. The alleged intoxicated driver was traveling northbound on Palo Verde Avenue when she crashed into three parked vehicles near Metz Street, Pratt said.
A man and a woman, who were sitting in one of the parked vehicles, had non-life threatening injuries and were taken to a local hospital, Pratt said Their names weren't released either.
