KNIGHTSEN -- School officials here are looking for another trustee now that Knightsen School District's board president Kristen Rhiner is on her way out.

Rhiner announced at this week's meeting that she's stepping down effective April 10 to take a job out of state.

She has 20 months remaining on her term, which expires in December 2014.

Applicants must live in the district and be at least 18 to qualify for the position. Application forms are available 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays at the district's business office, 1923 Delta Road, Knightsen.

The deadline is April 5; trustees will appoint Rhiner's replacement at their April 10 meeting.
