Carmel River, Ord talks Wednesday

Fort Ord National Monument's first year and efforts to restore the Carmel River watershed will be the topics of presentations at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Pacific Grove Natural History Museum, Forest and Central avenues.

Margaret Davis of Friends of the Fort Ord Warhorse will speak about Fort Ord, and Lorin Letendre from the Carmel River Watershed Conservancy will talk about the river.

The American Red Cross will hold blood drives on the following days and locations this week:
