BYRON --At least one lane of traffic was blocked along Vasco Road in Contra Costa County Thursday morning following a two-vehicle injury crash, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers were dispatched about 6:45 a.m. to the intersection of Vasco Road at Camino Diablo Road for a report of a two-car hit-and-run crash involving injury, but when they arrived on scene they discovered it was not a hit-and-run wreck, said Officer Ron Simmons.
At least one person was injured but the extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
At least one lane of southbound Vasco Road was blocked about 7:30 a.m. for a short period of time which slowed the morning commute.
