ALAMEDA-- Children's clothing stores Crazy 8 will open at the Alameda South Shore Center this fall, becoming the latest tenant to join the open-air shopping center that has spruced up its retail and dining selections in recent months.
Crazy 8 signed a 10-year lease at the center, expanding its substantial Bay Area footprint which includes about a dozen locations. The store is owned by The Gymboree Corporation, which operates about 1,200 children's clothing stores in the U.S., including stores Janie and Jack stores and Gymboree outlets.
The Alameda South Shore Center, which is the largest shopping destination on the island of Alameda, has recently undergone major renovations, adding more diverse restaurants, redesigning stores and offering outdoor concerts and food trucks.
