SAN JOSE -- A 44-year-old man died after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle in northeast San Jose Wednesday morning, officials said.

According to the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office, San Jose resident Blaine Christopher Medeiros suffered multiple internal injuries and was transported to Regional Medical Center, where he later died.

Officials said it appeared Medeiros was struck by a vehicle attempting to make a left turn around 7:45 a.m. No further information about the investigation was available Wednesday evening.
